Add Documents
There are two ways to add a document for a student: either upload the document or create an e-sign package and add the document to the package.
To upload a document do the following:
- Click on the Add New Document item in the Actions drop-down menu under the Documents panel.
- Fill the required fields in the Add New Documentpop-up panel:
- Type
- Group - the group the document is related to. Only required for the documents that are related to a specific group (e.g. Enrollment Agreement).
- Description - a comment for the document. The description should be unique across the documents with the same type and group.
- Attached File - the uploaded file. This field is required. Documents without uploaded files cannot exist.
- Click the Add button:
If the document is to be signed using e-sign there is no need to add it for a student with the Add New Document button. You should create an e-sign package by clicking the Create E-Sign Package button and add all the required documents to this package. All the documents added to the e-sign package are shown on the Student Folders panel as well.
Note: All actions applied to the documents that are part of an e-sign package (e.g. Move to Trash) are applied to all other documents in the package as well. You cannot change one document in the package without affecting the others.
More information about e-sign can be found in the E-Sign Guide.
The Student "Name": Student Folders page also shows a brief information about the required student documents that are missing or present at the Folders Audit panel. More information can be found in the Folders Audit article.
