Case:

There is no ability to view the full list of the classes attended by a student and to check the date the student met the SAP rule. The classes list has to be created manually as well as the dates calculation. This takes much time.

Problem:

How to check the dates students met the SAP rule and quickly understand whether the dates are correct or not?

Solution:

The SAP Met Report page is renamed to Satisfactory Academic Progress and is improved as described below.

The report now shows not only the met SAP rules but also the SAP rules with the following statuses:

  • Met - the rule is already met by a student.
  • In Progress - the rule that is not met by a student but is expected to be met.
  • Not Met - the rule is not met by a student but should be met.
  • Not Available - there is not enough data for GEGI to identify the rule status.

The data for hours and days calculation for meeting the SAP rules is gathered not only from one group but from all the student’s groups with transfers between them:

The Students panel is changed as follows:

  • All the SAP rules of a student are grouped in a subpanel titled with the student’s name.
  • The following columns are displayed at the panel:
    • Program
    • SAP Rule - the rule name
    • Status - current rule status
    • SAP Met Date - the date the rule is met
    • Groups
    • Stage of Pipeline in Group
  • The following items are shown In the Actions drop-down menu:
    • View Details - opens the Student "Name": Satisfactory Academic Progress Details page
    • View Rule in Program - opens the Program "Name" page → Satisfactory Academic Progress tab
    • View Attendance Report - opens the Student "Name": Attendance Report page
    • View Grading Report - opens the Student "Name": Grading Report page:

Added the Student "Name": Satisfactory Academic Progress Details page that features the following:

  • Information - the panel with the information about the student, the group, and the program.
  • Rules - the panel with all the SAP rules for the student in the group.
  • Student "Name": Satisfactory Academic Progress Details - the panel with all the SAP rules and the corresponding attendance records:

The following changes are made to the Satisfactory Academic Progress page in the Search & Order panel:

  • The SAP search parameter is renamed to SAP Rule.
  • The SAP on Date search parameter is renamed to SAP Met Date.
  • When a program is selected in the Program search parameter, the SAP Rule and the Group search parameters show only the data relevant to the selected program.
  • Added Presets:

Available since GEGI v4.8.0 (view release notes).
