Case:

Before using GEGI students must read and accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. But these agreements are nowhere to be placed in GEGI.


Problem:

How to make sure the students acknowledge and accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use before using GEGI?


Solution:

Added an ability to set up the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use documents in GEGI.

All options are located on the School Settings page in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use Options section:



When the Enable Privacy Policy and Enable Terms of Use settings are enabled the footers of all the pages including the login page will display links to those documents:



If the Students Must Accept the Agreement at the First Login setting is enabled on the School Settings page the student will have to accept the enabled agreements when logging in for the first time.


If the student accepts the agreement the student is allowed to continue.

If the student declines the agreement or simply leaves the page the student will not be granted access to GEGI until the agreement is accepted.


Note: If the agreement text has been changed the date of revision need to be updated too. Therefore the student that has accepted the agreement before will have to accept it again.
