Case:

Student payments can be stored outside GEGI in special applications or documents. But student names there may differ from the names in GEGI. This may complicate the process of payment reconciliation and payments and refunds import.


Problem:

How to improve the automatic students searching to make payments reconciliation more effective?

 

Solution:

Improved the student name searching between GEGI and data from an imported file. From now on even the students with incomplete names match will be treated as matching. E.g., in the cases when one name has a hyphen in GEGI and no hyphen in the imported file. Or if a double name is written partially:



Additionally, the system finds matches among the student's alternative name, but in this case, the match has to be manually confirmed:
