Case:
When choosing the location for the new campus the school authorities need to estimate an approximate distance between the student home address and the new campus address.
Problem:
There is no ability in GEGI to get the distance between the student's home address and the campus address.
Solution:
The Student "Name": Lead Details page now has the Distance to Campuses field. The distance in this field is calculated automatically between the student's place of residence and all the selected campuses.
The distance is calculated based on the student's address and the campus address coordinates from Census Geocoder API.
The student's address is taken from the Address, City, State, and Zip fields from the populated Registration Form (if exists) or from the Student "Name": Lead Details page.
The campus address is taken from the Address field in the campus settings:
This field is also added to the Search & Order panel on the Leads & Students page.
The Distance to Campus search parameter may help to find the students with the distance to campus less or greater than the defined value or not calculated (No Data option):
This field is added to the Presets as well. Select this field to get the report for the Distance to Campuses of the students:
