  • Financial → Populate Payment Plan


Case:

Users may populate a PP when the sum of the Estimated Payments by Payment Period and Expected payments for Academic Year is greater than the Direct Educational Costs for the same Academic Year.


Problem:

According to a federal regulation, such Payment Plan is not allowed to be signed.


Solution:

Added the validation rule for the sum of the Estimated Payments by Payment Period and the Expected Payments for Academic Year to be less than the Direct Educational Costs for the same Academic Year when populating a PP. If the rule is not met, a limitation is applied:



Added the permission Populate PP when Total of the Expected Payment greater than Direct Educational Costs that allows ignoring this limitation.
