Case:
When students are absent from classes, users should describe the reason for that (was that an excused absence or not). The absence type, Excused or Unexcused, is set in the comment to the grade.
Problem:
Adding the absence type in the comment is inconvenient and is not displayed everywhere across the system.
Solution:
Added an ability to choose Absence type (Excused, Unexcused) when managing student's attendance.
If you select A/PM for attendance, another field appears and allows selecting the Absence Type between Excused and Unexcused:
On the Group "Name": Attendance page and the Clinical Group "Name": Attendance page the Absence Type is displayed as a hint beside the record:
The absence type is shown as well when viewing students attendance, attendance reports in GEGI, and in the PDF versions of documents. Most pages show the attendance as follows: A/PM (Absence Type):
The PDF reports display Attendance (Absence Type) in the Comment field:
Available since GEGI v4.18.0 (view release notes)
