Case:
Users need to send emails to the students of a certain course or group.
Problem:
Now, when creating a bulk email, there is no ability to check students of which course or group will receive the message. Users have to always keep in mind which groups they are sending to. There is also no ability to use substitutions for a course or a group.
Solution:
If bulk emails are sent to students of the selected course of a group, the Group Name: Education Group Details page at Step 1 will show which group or course was selected:
%GROUP_NAME% and %COURSE_TITLE% substitutions are added to Step 2.
%COURSE_TITLE% - course title ("VN 100 - Fundamental of Nursing"). Сan be used only if bulk emails are sent to students of the selected course of a group, on the Group Name: Education Group Details page:
Note: Substitutions can be used both in the body and the subject of an email message:
%GROUP_NAME% - group name ("FI-VN-2017-SH-2"). Can be used for sending emails from all pages in GEGI. This substitution will use student groups with the ENROLLED and ACTIVE statuses. If a student has several groups, they will be displayed in the email, separated by commas. If a student has not had any groups with ENROLLED or ACTIVE stages of the pipeline, the email won't be sent:
If a message has not been sent to a student, you will see the list of such students and the reason:
There may be two reasons:
- The student has unsubscribed from the selected category.
- The student has not had any groups with ENROLLED or ACTIVE stages of the pipeline.
