Locations:
- Student "Name": Registration Form
Users with the following permissions:
- Leads & Students → View Registration Form
- Leads & Students → Edit Registration Form
Case:
When enrolling, a student should immediately have the Registration Fee charge added to the A/R Card.
Problem:
The charges can be added to a student only in the Enrollment Agreement/Financial Aid Plan. In other words, after the registration. This does not comply with the student enrollment rules.
Solution:
Added an ability to add Registration Fee charges before creating the Enrollment Agreement. This can be done on the Charges panel of the Student "Name": Registration Form page. After the Registration Form is populated, the charges are immediately added to the student’s A/R Card.
Note: Only the charges with Create Automatically When Creating a Registration Form enabled can be added to the Registration Form:

To create the Reg Fee Charge in the Registration Form, create or edit a draft using the Show Draft → Edit Draft buttons. Fill in the information in the Add Charge panel and click Add.
Note: If a group has a preconfigured EA Template, the Registration Fee charge will be created automatically when creating a Registration Form Draft with the amount defined in the template for the current date:

You can edit or delete the charge on the Charges panel provided you have permission. If not, the system will show you a notification with the reason why the charge cannot be edited in the Registration Form:

When creating an Enrollment Agreement, Reg Fee charges are moved from the Registration Form to the Enrollment Agreement.
When a charge gets in EA, it can be edited only according to the Pending Periods rules.
Note: You can find more information about Pending Periods in the following article: Transactions.
