Users with the following permissions:

  • View Originations and Disbursements (all students)
  • Edit Originations and Disbursements (all students)


Case: 

When originating Direct Loans, the "Academic Year End Date" field value for Direct Loans is calculated automatically.


Problem:

The breaks are not taken into account for the "Academic Year End Date" calculation while it is required by the rules.


Solutions:

The breaks are now counted in when calculating "Academic Year End Date" for Direct Loan originations if breaks are defined in a group.
The "Academic Year End Date" is moved forward by the number of the break days if break periods overlap the Academic Year partially or fully.


The Academic Year Dates field now has a tooltip describing the field values calculation:



The Loan Period Dates and the Academic Year Dates fields are highlighted if the current value differs from the calculated:
