The accrued revenue for books is calculated according to the list of the books a student purchases during the study.

GEGI allows configuring books lists for each program, group, and student.


The List of All Books


The list of all books in a school is configured on the Books page (Education  Settings  Books):




The Book ID (ISBN, etc) field is unique for each book. Besides that, the combination of Title, Author, Edition, and Book ID should be unique as well.

A book cannot be deleted from the list if it is added to a program or a group.

A book can be marked as Old and you will not be able to add it to programs and groups anymore:


The List of Books in Programs


The program books list is configured here: Program Courses  Books. If a book has all program courses selected, you will see "All Assigned Courses" in the Courses column:



The List of Books in Groups


When creating a group, the books list is copied to the group from the program. The list can be further changed for each group.

The books list can be configured individually for each group:


You can also completely replace the group books list with the program books list:



Student's List of Books


When creating the Enrollment Agreement for a student, the books list is updated according to the student’s assigned courses. 


The list of the student’s books is shown in the Enrollment Agreement:



The list of the books can be edited on the Assign Courses and Books to Student page:



You can add any book to a student regardless of whether the book is added to the group or not.

If you add a book from a group to a student, check the Group Books checkbox:



The books added to a student and not added to a group are listed under the Student's Individual Books title. Individual books are added to a student using the Add Student's Individual Book.

Select a book from the list of the books, fill in Student’s Cost, and select the courses the book relates to:
