Who is an instructor role made for in GEGI?
Students take some courses at clinical sites. Usually, the students study individually or in small groups rather than as a full group. Such classes are given by different instructors at different clinical sites.
Once the course is added and is set up in the group, an instructor should be assigned to that same course as well in order to be able to enter both attendance and grades for the students.
First of all, you need to go to Education → Cohorts & Groups section and find a required group. As soon as the group is found, choose a course which requires a new instructor to be assigned to.
How to Assign/Unassign an Instructor
To assign an instructor for a group go to the Group "Name": Education Group Details page and use the Assign/Unassign Instructors button.
Then you should assign course instructors by using the Actions → Assign Instructors button located at the right in the course row.
