Financial Aid Loan Limits
The annual and aggregate limits for Direct Loans can be found on the Financial Aid → Settings → Loan Limits page. This information is used later in the Direct Loan Awards calculation in the Financial Aid plan as well as to validate amounts of completed Direct Loans packaging for exceeding the limits.
The page shows the award years that have the limits set created:
Adding a New Limits Set for an Award Year
Add a new record by clicking the Add button and selecting an award year from a drop-down list:
After the record is created, you will see a table where you will enter the annual and aggregated limits for the selected award year:
Click Save when done.
Copy the Limits From the Past Award Years
Use the Actions → Copy menu in the corresponding row to copy any award year's limits to a new award year:
After that, select the destination award year where you want to copy the limits. The list of award years will show the corresponding year and the limits table will contain the values identical to the selected source year:
Click Edit if you need to modify the values (also available after copying).
