Financial Aid Loan Interest Rates
The information about the Direct Loan interest rates can be found on the Financial Aid → Settings → Loans Interest Rates page. This information is later used to create Financial Aid plans and loan net amounts calculation.
This page shows the years with the award years that already have the interest rate sets:
Adding a new interest rate set for an award year
Use the Add button to add a new record and select the award year from the drop-down list:
After that, you will see a table where you can enter the interest rates for the undergraduated, graduated, and professional students for this award year:
Save the information by clicking Save.
Copying the interest rates from any previous award year
Use the Actions → Copy menu item in a corresponding year’s row to copy its rates to a new award year:
After that, select the destination year where you want to copy the interest rate set. You will see your new award year added to the Award Years table and the rates will be identical to the source award year.
The values can be changed using the Edit button (can be changed after copying as well).
