- Copy a Non-Direct Expenses Data Set from Previous Calendar Years
Each calendar year’s Information about non-direct expenses (Food and Housing, Personal Expenses) is available on the e Financial Aid → Settings → Non-Direct Expenses page. This information is used in the Financial Aid plan in the Non-Direct Expenses section and for calculating sums for Food and Housing and Personal Expenses in the Non-Direct Costs section.
The page shows the calendar years that have a set of non-direct expenses:
Add New Non-Direct Expenses Data Set for Calendar Year
Click the Add button and select an calendar year from the drop-down list to create a new data set:
After the record is added, you will see a table where you fill in the values for non-direct expenses (Shelter, Food at Home, Personal Care) for the selected calendar year:
Click Save and the system will calculate the values that can be later used in the Financial Aid plan:
- Weekly Room and Board Food and Housing for Independent Students,
- Weekly Room and Board Food and Housing for Dependent Students,
- Weekly Personal Expenses.
Calculation formulas are shown in the tooltip for each calculated field.
Copy a Non-Direct Expenses Data Set from Previous Calendar Years
You can copy the non-direct expenses data set from any previous calendar year to a new one using the Actions → Copy in the row of the calendar year you need to copy:
Select the destination where the data will be copied and the Years list will be updated with a new calendar year with the same data in the table as the source calendar year.
Note: You can modify the data by clicking Edit (this can be done after copying too).
