Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment (FVT/GE) reports in GEGI ensure compliance with federal regulations by providing the financial value and gainful employment outcomes of educational programs.
FVT/GE Students Report
The FVT/GE Students Report includes students (enrolled, completed, or withdrawn) who have received Title IV aid to attend a program. You can access the report from the Audit Reports → NSLDS → FVT/GE Students Report menu:
The report will show only records with missing information if you check Show Only with Errors in Search & Order. Fields with missing values will be highlighted in red:
The report results can be exported to Excel format using the corresponding item in the Actions drop-down menu at the bottom of the report:
The Reporting Award Year filter should have value before exporting:
The columns and the format of the exported Excel file comply with the official NSLDS documentation.
FVT/GE Programs Report
The FVT/GE Programs Report includes information about each GE program or Eligible Non-GE Program at your institution on an annual basis for the most recently completed award year. You can access the report from the Audit Reports → NSLDS → FVT/GE Programs Report menu:
The report will show only records with missing information if you check Show Only with Errors in Search & Order. Fields with missing values will be highlighted in red:
The Reporting Award Year filter should have value before exporting:
The columns and the format of the exported Excel file comply with the official NSLDS documentation.
How to Add Programs to the Report?
The programs that need to be shown in the report can be selected on the FVT/GE Reports panel in the program settings (Program "Name" → Details → Program Info).
You can also enter values for the following columns there:
- Graduate Qualifying Program
- Programmatically Accredited Program
- Accrediting Agency Name
- Bachelor’s Degree Program
- State Two/Three/Four/Five in MSA of Main Campus
- Program Prepares Students for Licensure in Main Campus/MSA State Two/Three/Four/Five
How to Submit the Reports?
The exported FVT/GE Programs and Students Reports can be submitted to the NSLDS Professional Access website using spreadsheet submittal under the School tab:
