Data for Enrollment Report

To support efficient and accurate NSLDS enrollment reporting, GEGI now automates the processing of EFRCDEOP files received from the SAIG Mailbox. This enhancement eliminates the need for manual data entry and ensures that student enrollment information submitted to NSLDS reflects the most current and validated data from GEGI.

This feature allows Financial Aid teams generating a fully populated Enrollment report for NSLDS submission, directly from within GEGI.

After EFRCDEOP files are received from NSLDS via the SAIG Mailbox:

  1. GEGI automatically downloads and processes the files;

  2. the system extracts and stores enrollment data in the database;

  3. each record is tagged by campus, based on the file’s origin;

  4. data from previous file sets is removed, ensuring only the most recent information is retained;

  5. the file receipt date is stored and displayed in the NSLDS menu.

Enrollment Report for NSLDS in GEGI

Follow the steps below to create the NSLDS Enrollment Report:

  1. Open the Audit Reports NSLDS Enrollment Report.
  2. Select the campus

The system offers two preset viewing options to accommodate different user needs:

  1. Program Default: Shows only common and useful fields for everyday reporting needs.
  2. All Fields: Displays all available fields for comprehensive data review.

You can switch between these presets depending on your current reporting requirements.

The report interface includes the Imported on column that displays the EFRCDEOP file created/received date for each campus. This information helps you track data relevance and ensures you are working with the most up-to-date information available.

Student data from the EFRCDEOP file is matched with GEGI system data using Social Security Numbers (SSN).

When discrepancies are found, the EFRCDEOP file data is updated from GEGI to ensure accuracy.

When data in the EFRCDEOP file does not match data in GEGI, the affected cell is highlighted in yellow.

Hovering over highlighted cells displays a tooltip with the original value from the file, allowing you to see both the original and updated values.

The completed report can be exported to XLSX for the direct upload to NSLDS. All required fields are automatically populated according to official NSLDS documentation specifications.
