The GEGI mobile app lets students access school features from their mobile device: check in to classes, view profile, and contact support.

Profile


The personal information added to your profile as well as your Student ID in GEGI can be found in the Profile by clicking on your initial in the top right corner.




The Profile allows you to update your password and email address as well as request information changes using the support chat.




Check-Ins


Use the Check-In tile to record your attendance for a class by scanning a QR code displayed by the instructor.



Checking In


The first time you open the QR scanner, your device will ask for camera access. Tap Allow to continue.


  1. Tap the Check-In tile. 
  2. Point the camera at the QR code your instructor is displaying. 
  3. The app will show a successful check-in message.



During Class


You can view the check-in information during the class by clicking the Check-In tile:



Breaks


For classes without a set schedule, you can record breaks during an active session:


  1. Tap the Check-In tile.
  2. Tap Start Break on the active session screen. 
  3. Tap End Break when you return.



Checking Out


Tap the Check-In tile, then End Class and scan the QR code again to end your session.



Error Messages


 If a check-in or check-out cannot be completed, the app displays a dialog explaining the reason:



Support


To contact support, click the Support button in the bottom right corner of the main app menu. Use the chat to send a message to the support team directly from the app.
