Locations: 

  • Grading: View or Record Grades page → Edit Final Grade 


Users with the following permissions:

  • Education → Grading: Edit Grades - Edit Final Grade 
  • Education → Clinical Grading: Edit Clinical Grades - Edit Final Grade 

 

Case:

A user sees that a final grade of a student was overridden manually by someone, however user doesn't know by whom and for what reason.  There is a need for transparency of actions associated with manual overrides to keep users informed of other users' actions. 

 

Problem:

There is a need for transparency of actions associated with manual overrides to keep users informed of other users' actions. 

Solution:

Added the Reason field that is required to finn when editing the final grade: 



The overriding reason and the name of the user who made the last overriding are displayed when directing a mouse over the icon near Current Grade:
