Locations:

  • Financial Shopping Sheet: Edit Template

 

Case: 

Education costs in the shopping sheet template must be entered manually and users have to create different templates for different cases (e.g. dependent and independent). And in some cases, student's shopping sheet shows incorrect sums. 

 

Problem: 

How to make the education costs set up in the shopping sheet template easier and to prevent incorrect sums calculation? 

 

Solution: 

The ability to set up automatic education costs calculation in the shopping sheet templates page was added. The calculation is performed based on the direct educational costs and budget components from the student's payment plan. 

To set up the automatic calculation follow the next steps:

  1. Open the Edit Shopping Sheet page.
  2. Choose one of the Calculation Types:
    • The sum of Direct Educational Costs in Current Award Year 
    • The sum of Budget Components in Current Award Year 
    • The sum of Awards in Current Award Year:

  3. Select one or more Payment Plan Components:



  4. Click on the Save button.
