Users with the following permissions:

  • Leads & Students: Delete from Group
  • Leads & Students: Permanently delete Student from Group (with EA, PP, etc)

 

Case:

When trying to delete a student from a core group that has information already entered (e.g. enrollment agreement, grades, attendance) you will receive a warning message saying that the group already has information and it can only be deleted by a user with the special permission. But there is no such validation for the prereq group and any user can delete it without having the special permission.


Problem:

How to prevent deleting a student by mistake from a prereq group with the student's information? 

 

Solution:

When deleting a student from a prereq group there is now a validation for the student's information entered in the group or not.

If a student has information in the group a user will see a warning message about it:



In this case, only the users with the Leads & Students: Permanently delete Student from Group (with EA, PP, etc) permission can delete the student from a group.
