A new GEGI version is released every last Thursday of the month and alongside with that the current versions’s release notes get updated. The current version is displayed in the footer on any page:
Clicking the version will open the table of content for that version. You can also read the release notes for all GEGI releases.
Clicking Knowledge Base will take you to GEGI documentation.
The table of contents lists all changes for the new GEGI version, grouped by the system sections.
The changes can be applied in one of the following ways:
- The changes are applied to GEGI automatically after the update.
Usually, it is related to the new features that are considered minor or do not noticeably affect the workflow in the system. - The changes are applied on the date approved by each school individually.
This relates to changes that affect the workflow considerably. Old features will get disabled over time. - The school applies the changes manually at any time.
This is related to the system changes that allow old features to be enabled back if needed.
The release notes in GEGI are published only for the most important changes.
You can contact GEGI support if you have any questions regarding releases or the release notes content.
