The System Journal page (Admin Reports → System → Journal Records) displays the log of all actions performed with all GEGI users. All the records are stored in the corresponding part. For example, the records related to entering or changing the grades are stored in the “Grading” Part, the attendance — in the “Attendance” Part, and so on.
The journal collects all IP addresses used by a user:
You may filter this journal by a user, a date, and a part.
Searching the journal is possible only within 1 month. To see the results for more than 1 month you will have to use the search multiple times.
You can define the data retention period for the system journal using the System Journal Data Retention Period, months setting in the data retention settings. All records older than that number of months will be automatically deleted.
