GEGI Student Management System (version 2026.08)


Accounting:

  • AR Card: Added the "AR Card by Payment Period" PDF document with separate generation for each group and with transactions grouped by FA plan payment periods.
  • Online Payments: Restricted the "Payment Type" options for payment links to "Sales Receipt" types only for students below the "Minimum Main Stage of Pipeline for Tuition/Registration Fee" threshold. The threshold is defined in school settings — no "Tuition Fee" and "Registration Fee" can be sent to students in these cases.


Education:

  • Canvas Integration: GEGI imports Canvas assignments as grade components and syncs student grades on a configurable schedule.
  • Courses: On the "Assign/Unassign Courses" page, added an info icon for each course row where the checkbox is disabled. Upon hovering or clicking the icon, users can see a clickable list of students with the course assigned to them in the Enrollment Agreement.
  • Types of Courses: Added the "Transfer Credit Courses Reviewers" multi-select field to the "Types of Courses" settings, allowing admins to configure which users can review transfer credit courses per course type. Access is controlled via the new "Review student transfer credit courses" permission.


Enrollment:

  • Enrollment Agreement: Removed the "Student was DROPPED less than 180 days ago" validation when populating the Enrollment Agreement for term-based credit hour programs. DROPPED/LOA Transfer between groups in term-based credit hour programs is now prohibited without the permission to bypass this restriction.


Financial Aid:

  • O&D: Added the automatic population of the "Enrollment Status Effective Date" field and moved it to the "Disbursements" panel. Added "W – Withdrawn" and "A – Leave of Absence" options to the "Enrollment Status" dropdown. 
  • O&D: Added the "Re-send to COD" bulk action to the Disbursements report.
  • O&D: The system fully supports award year 26-27, removed the "Beta" tag.
  • SAP: Updated the credit granted rule adjustments for term-based programs. GEGI now reduces each payment period’s rule only using credit hours from courses in prior payment periods instead of the student’s total credit granted hours.


Mobile App:

  • Payments: Added the ability to pay tuition bills and additional fees, opt into automatic charging, and review payment history with receipts and a saved-card payment method.
