GEGI Student Management System (version 2026.06)




Education:

  • Courses: Added the "Extension" column and filter to the "Courses" page. The column displays the extension values assigned to each course across programs, and the filter in the "Search & Order" panel allows filtering by specific extensions or by courses with no extension assigned.
  • Courses: Added the validation to prevent saving a course if "Total Clock Hours" is set below the already scheduled or attended hours. Users will see an error message prompting them to reduce scheduled classes before lowering the course hour limit.
  • Letter Grades: Changes to the "Default Letter Grades" are now automatically applied to future courses that have no grades entered and have not been manually edited. Added the "Update from Default Letter Grades" button on the "Grading: Letter Grades" page, allowing to manually revert a course’s letter grades to the current default values.
  • Transcript: Added the optional "Transcript Minimum Grade, %" field at the course/program and course/group levels; if a student’s final grade falls below the threshold, the course hours are excluded from total completed hours on the transcript.


Financial Aid:

  • Direct Loans Reconciliation Report: Added support for the 2026-2027 award year. The "26-27" option is now available in the "Award Year" dropdown in the "Search & Order" panel.
  • FA Estimate: Updated the automatic calculation — added the "Estimated Values" ISIR option for students without an imported ISIR, applied the year-round 150% rule when estimating Pell, and removed fully credit-granted academic years from the FA estimate view.
  • FA Overview Report: Renamed the "FA Tracking Report" to "FA Overview Report". Added new columns: EA Modified Date, EA Populated Date, FA Plan Modified Date, FA Plan Populated Date, Credit Granted, Days Outstanding, File Clear Deadline, Comments, Financial Aid Advisor, and document status columns showing whether documents are signed. Added the "Show in FA Overview Report" setting to document types to control which documents appear in the report. Added two system presets: "FA Tracking Report" with the original columns and "Program Default" with all columns.
  • FA Plan PDF: Added the new "Financial Plan PDF Headers" list (Admin → Lists) for managing section headers in the FA Plan PDF. Added the "Financial Plan PDF Header" dropdown to the payment settings to assign each payment type to a specific section. Payments are now grouped in the FA Plan PDF by their assigned header in the configured display order.
  • FA Tracking Form: Added the automatic population of the "Credit Balance Authorization" field from signed e-sign documents.
  • ISIRs: Updated the 26-27 ISIR PDF — added new NSLDS fields per the 2026/02 specification update.
  • O&D: Added the ability to send originations to COD when disbursements are in the "Accepted" or "Corrected" status.
  • O&D: Added the support for award year 2026-2027 in the "Beta" mode.


Reporting System:

  • Audit Reports: Added the new Nevada Quarterly Report for tracking quarterly enrollment and CPE fees due for Nevada-licensed programs.
  • DFPI: California Residents Annual: The report now correctly counts transferred students once, preventing duplicate entries across AM/PM and Drop/LOA transfers.
  • IPEDS Reports: Added the "12-Month Enrollment (E12) Report" (part B) to the Reporting System.
  • IPEDS Reports: Added the "Cost I (CST) Report" (part C) to the Reporting System. 
  • IPEDS Reports: Added the "Completions (C) Report" to the Reporting System.
  • IPEDS Reports: In the "Enrollment by Distance Education Status (E12)" report, records without an assigned attendance status are now displayed as "Unknown" instead of "null". Multiple reports in the Reporting System now have a default sort order applied by reporting period and student name for easier data navigation.
  • SB70 Annual Report: Added three new student demographic fields to the report — "First Generation", "Student Parent", and "Foster Youth". The fields are also available at the "Lead Details" page, "Search & Order" filters, and presets on the "Leads & Students" page.


Mobile App:

  • Check-In: Added the QR code check-in for recording class attendance from the GEGI mobile app.


Placement:

  • Placement Records: Added the "Licensure Exam Taken" filter to the "Search & Order" panel. Added the "Licensed and Employed" block to the "Summary Information" panel with the "Not Licensed", "Not Taken Exam", and "Licensed and Placed" fields.
  • Placement Records: Split the "Emails" column in the "Placement Records" table into two separate columns: "Primary Email" and "Alternative Emails", making it easier to identify and use the correct email address, including on export to Excel.
  • Reports: Added the JRCERT: Placement Rate Report.
