GEGI Student Management System (version 4.89.0)
Accounting:
- 1098-T: Moved the "Filer EIN" and "Filer Info" fields to the "Add Year" form on the "Form 1098-T Generation" page. When adding a new year, these fields are automatically prefilled with the values from the most recent year in the list and can be edited. Generated PDF forms preserve the data that was valid at the time of generation.
- 90/10 Revenue Percentage: Replaced the "Year" filter with a "Reporting Period" filter featuring two dropdown selects (for January of each available year and for all months within the selected year) allowing viewing data from January 1 through the last day of the selected month within that year.
- AR Card: Added the ability to export selected students’ AR cards to a single PDF on the following pages: "Financial Module: Students", "Leads & Students", "Group: View Students".
- Revenue: Adjusted the rounding logic for clock-hour programs. The remainder of accruals with decimal places greater than thousandths are cumulated for the entire period and accrued on the last day of the period. The remainder up to 1 cent that may result from this cumulation is accrued on the last date of attendance.
- Revenue Budget: Added the "Spread Across Months Before Group Start" option to the "Amount Accrued" and "Cost Accrued" columns of the "Charges" panel on the "Budget Configuration" page. This allows setting up the student charges distribution over N months before the group start.
Audit Reports:
- Graduate Identification Data: Added the "Group State" column showing the state where a student’s graduation group is located.
Education:
- Attendance: Added the QR code generation for QR code attendance tracking.
- Enrollment Agreement: Improved the logic so that completed courses from previous groups are no longer automatically reassigned, and books are allocated only for assigned courses.
- Grading: Added the validation to prevent the "Is Final Grade?" flag from being set when students have missing attendance records. Added a permission to override this validation.
- Programs: Added the "Module Weeks" panel in the program settings along with the validation to ensure module weeks align with the "Approximate Number of Weeks" field, including override options and warning displays for mismatches.
- Programs: Added the "Are Licensure Fields Required" program setting. When disabled, the "Licensure Exam Taken", "Licensure Exam Date", "Licensure exam Issuance date", "Licensure Exam Passed", and "License Number" fields become optional on placement record forms.
- Transcript: Improved the grade recording for transferred students to correctly show grades in the group where clinical rotations were completed, with "N/A" displayed for non-completed groups.
- Transfer Credits: Renamed "Transfer Credits" functionality to "Required Credits" across the the "Edit Transfer Credits" page, related "Enrollment Agreement" fields, and program settings.
- Withdrawal Worksheet: Implemented the automatic integration of Credit Granted courses during re-enrollment based on the configurable re-enrollment period (School Settings → Allow Re-enrolling to the Same Program for X days). Courses from previous groups are included and marked "CG" in the "Completed Hours?" column for students who re-enrolled within the allowed timeframe.
Financial Aid:
- Audit Reports: Enhanced the Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment (FVT/GE) Students Report with corrected student selection and calculation fixes.
- Audit Reports: Updated the Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment (FVT/GE) Programs Report formatting for compliance with documentation requirements.
- College Financing Plan: Updated the creation logic to fill information based on the academic year from the group’s FA plan template.
- FA Batches: Added the ability to edit disbursement records, add award refunds, and update disbursement dates within existing batches.
- FA Plan: Added the automatic calculation of Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans for clock hour and term-based credit hours programs.
- FA Plan: Added the automatic population of Direct Loan interest rates and the IRS Standard Mileage Rate from system lists when creating new FA Plans.
- FA Plan: Added the automatic population of Direct Loans origination fees when creating new FA Plans.
- FA Plan: Added the automatic population of payment period dates and the number of weeks from "Group Details" when creating Financial Aid Plans without a group FA Plan Template.
- FA Plan: Added the automatic population of the Non-Direct Expenses panel based on group settings.
- FA Plan: Added the automatic calculation of payment period dates for credit granted students when creating Financial Aid Plans without a group FA Plan Template.
- FA Plan: Added validation to ensure Direct Loans for each award year are allocated within a single academic year.
- FA Plan: Enhanced the automatic Pell calculation with the Lifetime Eligibility Used (LEU) limit validation from ISIR.
Leads & Students:
- Leads & Students: Enhanced group data visibility with columns now displaying information from all student groups, including group names in parentheses for easy identification.
Reporting System:
- Courses Report: Added new columns: "Needed Remediation", "Failed Students", "Passed Students", "% Passed without Remediation Attempts", "% Passed with Remediation Attempts", and "Date All Grades Finalized".
- Courses Report: Added the "Method of Delivery Comment" column that displays comments associated with each course’s Method of Delivery.
- Reporting System was updated to the current version.
